First span in New York and a little aprehensive about getting around with a 7 month old baby in tow. Something fast and convenient. Bus? Attendants? Cab is out of the question as we would be left with a car seat and no place to store it at the Nets game we are going to.

take 161 paterson bus from Seaport Authority fare is 3.40 for adults a small child is free and it leaves you at the arena.
outing is 13 minutes.
